      Tap Putt does not require an account, does not collect your name or email,
      and does not transmit any gameplay data off your device.
    

1. Information We Collect

Tap Putt stores the following data locally on your device only using iOS system storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:

Your best score
Your handicap index
Sound and haptics preferences

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal information.

2. Advertising

Tap Putt displays ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve relevant ads and measure their performance, Google may collect and use certain information from your device, which may include:

Advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID)
IP address and general location (country / region)
Device type, operating system version, and language
Ad interaction data (views, clicks)

On iOS 14.5 and later, the app will ask for your permission before allowing Google to use your advertising identifier for personalised ads. You can change this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google's Ad Settings.

3. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used by Tap Putt is Google AdMob (advertising). No analytics SDKs, crash-reporting tools, or social SDKs are included.

4. Children's Privacy

Tap Putt is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not collect any personal information from any users, including children.

For advertising, we use Google AdMob configured with child-directed treatment enabled, which limits ad personalization and disables interest-based advertising in compliance with COPPA and Apple's guidelines for apps available to children.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

All data stored by Tap Putt lives on your device. You can delete it at any time by:

Using the Reset Progress option inside the app's Settings screen, or
Deleting the app from your device entirely.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
